The Howard County Courthouse is a dual array – a ground mount and a rooftop. Additionally, an agrivoltaic pilot will be implemented onto one of the sites - a pollinator habitat grown under the ground mount array - to create an additional income resource. By using a combination of virtual and distributed net metering, CI Renewables was able to help Howard County to meet its target renewable energy goals and be the first county nationwide to receive LEED Platinum Certification.
